Garden Consultation with Dawn

Working with Dawn to give her garden a feel of New Zealand; one of her favourite places...

Report and Ideas for Dawn’s Garden
July 2012
Derby

We walked around the garden and identified her existing plants and decided which we wanted to keep.

Here are the conclusions of our discussion:

Dawn is looking to add and move existing plants and shrubs to create specific areas of seasonal interest and give a softer cottage garden feel.
She wishes to develop the left hand border as a reminder of New Zealand, the country she loves.
As a therapist who also wishes to increase the biodiversity of her garden, she wishes to encourage more wildlife.

With these points in mind I suggest that we repeat plant some plants in groups of 3 or 5 to create a sense of rhythm and harmony around the garden
For example her geraniums and grasses.
